Daniel, who was selected as a designated player for SK in Seoul, will wear a professional uniform and go around the court from the 2025-2026 season.

Danielle, who has been considered a promising player since his junior high school years, has already completed his training as a member of the national team by age. Danielle has continued to accumulate experience even after entering high school, and has helped his team win two gold medals this season (Spring Federation match, Association chairman).

Danielle, who has outstanding physical and athletic abilities compared to her peers, struggled repeatedly to enter college and go straight to the professional profession at the beginning of the season.

In an interview with this newspaper at the time, Daniel, who said, "I will choose a path for my development between going to college and going straight to the profession," concluded that he was going straight to the profession after much consideration.

Danielle, who decided to advance to the professional league for the first time as a designated player, said, "I thought the option for me to develop further was to go straight to the professional league. I decided because I thought it would be helpful to go to the professional league faster (than my peers) and experience it and confront it," and told him how he declared his direct advance to the professional league.

Daniel decided to go straight to the professional league after the federation presidential competition. 

"I decided to go straight to the pro league after finishing a competition in Tongyeong in early May. I think it's better for professionals to focus on basketball than universities, so I decided to go straight to the pro league," said Eddie Daniel.

At a time of concern about his future, he also asked for advice from his parents and teacher, coach Lee Se-beom.

"I even asked for advice when I was worried about my future. My parents and coach (Lee Se-beom) said they respect my choice. I was determined (to go directly to the professional league) to support whatever decision I make. I asked for advice, but in the end, I was the final decision maker."

Danielle continued, "Before I decided to go straight to the professional league, I had a lot of worries and thoughts about my career, which made me feel exhausted and tired. But once I made up my mind, it became clear what I should do. I feel relieved that I have less worries."

Danielle, who became the youngest member and new member of SK, said, "(I am) a player who never gives up and always works hard. I hope fans will keep an eye on me as I will have more fun growing up in the future," in greeting SK fans as well.

Lastly, he said, "I want to work hard and become the player that I need and help the most in my team. I want to be the first Daniel, not the second person."
